CRISTINA BETZ

Cristina Betz is a senior at Western Kentucky University majoring in photojournalism and double minoring in entrepreneurship and broadcasting. Although she was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, Betz has lived in Roswell, Georgia since she was 10 months old. She has always had a deep love for hiking, traveling, and photography. 

As a visual journalist, Betz strives to find unique subjects and tell their stories in a truthful, powerful, and creative way. Every person has a story to tell, the difficult part is determining a creative angle that captures the important moments. Photography is a way to communicate feelings and emotions. Oftentimes, pictures tell a story that no amount of words could ever express. Betz’s ultimate career goal is to produce quality work that conveys an impactful message to compel others to want to make a difference in the world.
