On September 23, 2021, LifeWorks at WKU hosted a ribbon cutting event for the new Julie and Gary Ransdell Living and Learning Community for adults with autism. | Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, GA is the perfect spot for paragliders to enjoy a gorgeous view. Before Hal Herrin, the original owner of the 3,424-foot mountain, passed away in 2009, he asked the mountain be preserved and for paragliders to continue having full access to the mountain top. | Despite the unfortunate weather, students, faculty, alumni, and community members enjoy the annual WKU homecoming parade on Oct. 29, 2021. This year's parade was a great success and highly anticipated after it was canceled last year due to the coronavirus. | Garrett Morrell, owner of 31 Ink Tattoos in Bowling Green, KY, works on a custom designed bat for Josh Rodgers. Morrell always wanted to be a tattoo artist, but did not know it was a real job until he joined the Marine Corps. |

Before the football game on Oct. 30, 2021, several families admire the homecoming floats placed around campus. Typically tailgating takes place on south lawn before the game, however everyone was checking out the different floats built by the Greek organizations. | After Western Kentucky University cancelled classes on February 15, 2021 due to the anticipated snow, students spent the day sledding down the hill in front of Van Meter Hall. The hill quickly became a popular hot spot, as more students arrived and a speaker was brought to the location. | A large crowd gathers outside of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception downtown for the Atlanta Catholic March for Justice on June 11, 2020. | On Oct. 30, 2021, the NPHC hosted their annual Step Show at Van Meter Hall. Each sorority and fraternity performed extremely well. |
In honor of Martin Luther King Day, a race is held in Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA. The race served as a fundraiser that encouraged schools, churches, and businesses to register because each person who registered under an approved organization received five dollars for their organization. | In preparation for the protest supporting the Black Lives Matter movement on June 5, 2020 in Duluth, GA, signs are created. These powerful messages convey the importance of demanding equality and justice. |
